Antonina Shevchenko

Antonina Shchenko is an Kyrgyzstani Muay Thay champion. She is currently a fighter with the UFC Flyweight division. She is the elder sister of fellow UFC fighter and ex- UFC Flyweight champion Valentina Shevchenko. Antonina Shevchenko is a Muay Thai Kickboxer began her career in fight sport at her first IFMA World Championship Tournament. Shevchenko won this tournament in a unified victory against Suzane Miller. Antonina continued to win and won a silver medal in 2007, a bronze in 2008, a gold medal in the year 2011 and the title of 2016 IFMA Amateur Muay Thailand World Champion. Antonia was first introduced to the professional world in 2003. She was the winner of the World K-1 Championships of WKC Light Welterweight 2012 and the Lightweight Lion Fight Championships 2016 and both the WMC World Championships and the Phoenix FC World Championships 2016. Antonina was the last time she fought Isa Tidblad Keskikangas at the Phoenix Fighting Championship. The victory was achieved by unanimous decision. Antonina Shevchenko broke her first professional MMA record in 2002 at the KFK Cup of Kyrgystan against Anara Bayanova. She took the win via a second round TKO followed by 2 more fights at WXF X-Impact World Championships to achieve a record of 3-0. Shevchenko took a short break from MMA and devoted her time to kickboxing. Shevchenko made her comeback in 2017 with Anissa Diddaoui. Shevchenko was victorious against Anissa Haddaoui with an unanimous decision. She later defeated Valerie Domergue, at Phoenix FC 4, in an unanimous vote. In 2018, she left the tournament and started competing in Dana White's Contender Series. Shevchenko battled Jaimelene Nievera on Dana White Tuesday Night Contender Series 11. Antonina's formidable strike abilities enabled her to TKO Nievera via knees in the back of her. Antonina was offered a UFC invitation following her win. Antonina Shychenko debuted for the UFC at the Heavy Hitters event of TUF finals against Ji Yeon Kim. Shevchenko defeated Roxanne Modeafferi by a unanimous decision. However, she then lost her subsequent bout due to an unanimous verdict. Antonina bounced back from the loss and defeated Lucie Pudilova at UFC on ESPN Covington vs. Lawler via second-round rear-naked choke and won the fight of the night reward during the bout. Shevchenko went 2-2 in the next three fights. She beat Ariane Lipski but lost to Katlyn Chokagian and Andrea Lee. Antonina is currently being lost to Casey O'Neill in UFC Fight Night Santos Walker.
