Ashton Whitty and Asia Argento

Ashton Blaise Whitty born October 1st, 1995. She was born in Berkeley California USA. She is an actor, famous as the actress behind Choices (2010), The Heart and Other Small Shapes (2006) and Chrissie Mayr's Content House (2022).

Asia Argento, born in Rome to a family which includes actors and directors, pursued these professions as well. When she made her debut, she was only nine years old in Sergio Citti's Sogni e bisogni In 1988 she had the leading role in Cristina Comencini's debut film, Zoo, and was one of the actors in The Church directed by Michele Soavi. Red Wood Pigeon, the film she appeared in as Nanni Moretti's little daughter was released a year later. However, it came from Close Friends by Michele Placido that saw Asia's acting career take off. The film received a great reception in the Cannes International Film Festival. She worked with her father for the very the first time Trauma, a renowned Italian horror director Dario Argento. The mother of her, Daria Nicoleli, is Argento's favourite actress, and she was the anorexic looking to find her parents' killer. Asia worked alongside Dario Argento on three movies, Trauma, The Stendhal Syndrome and the Phantom of the Opera. In the film Condannato a nozze, Asia's absorbent manner of character acting was used well. In 1993, she starred alongside Carlo Verdone's Perdiamoci di vista in which she was Arianna, a physically disabled girl--an intricate, difficult character that earned her the David di Donatello for best actress She also had a featured role in the cast international for Queen Margot directed by Patrice Chereau. In 1995 she worked together alongside Michel Piccoli to produce Peter Del Monte Compagna di viaggio, for which she won the title of David di Donatello. Asia began directing in 1994 and released two short films as well as an episode of the movie De Generazione. In 1996, she produced a documentary about her father and AbelAsia which was a documentary about the legendary director Abel Ferrara. In 1998, Asia directed AbelAsia, which won awards by the Rome Film Festival. Asia was the director of her first feature in Scarlet Diva (1999), in which she was the main actress in the film and also the creator of its screenplay. In May 2000, the movie was screened across the globe. It won an award at the Williamsburg Film Festival in Brooklyn, New York.
